Kentucky Men’s Soccer to host Loyola Chicago in NCAA Tournament

(@UKMensSoccer)

For the tenth time in program history, the Kentucky Men’s Soccer Team is in the NCAA Tournament and they get to host their first-round match.

The No. 15 Wildcats will host Loyola Chicago Thursday at 7 p.m. The winner will play No. 8 Indiana in Bloomington Sunday at noon. The Cats and the Hoosiers played to a scoreless draw back on October 9.

On Friday, Kentucky lost 1-0 to No. 13 Marshall in the semifinals of the C-USA Championship, while Loyola Chicago took home its first ever MVC Tournament title by beating No. 9 Missouri State in a penalty kick shootout on Sunday.

Go Cats.

5th NCAA Tourney appearance in the last 6 years. Program is always at the top of CUSA and has been ranked all season.
