Kentucky remains a front-runner for 2022 three-star OT Daughtry Richardson.
On Friday, the South Florida product cut his list from ten teams to eight. Kentucky is in the mix along with Florida State, Pitt, Missouri, Miami, Arizona State, UCF, and Mississippi State.

Richardson delayed his initial announcement back in February.
Eric Wolford, Kentucky’s new offensive line coach, has held a tight-knit relationship with Richardson dating, back to his time at South Carolina. The two continued their relationship all the way to Lexington. According to Cats Illustrated, there was a sense a few weeks ago that Richardson was ready to make a commitment to Kentucky, however, he ultimately decided to back off that decision and has since left his recruitment open. Kentucky was initially in his top three along with Arizona State and West Virginia.
Now that West Virginia is off the list, it will be interesting to see what the next move is for the Tallahassee native. Richardson grew up as a fan of the ‘Noles, a team that is also still in the running for Richardson.
“They want me,” Richardson told NoleGamdeday about FSU. “That’s the message they are giving to me. They’re saying I’m a top tackle for their class, they want me to commit.”
Kentucky is still firmly in the mix for Richardson, but it may just come down to the wire.
