Vince Marrow is closing in on one of his top targets from the state of Ohio.
Friday morning Aamil Wagner cut his list of suitors to six. The four-star offensive tackle from Wayne High School, located just outside of Dayton, Ohio, cast a wide net, ranging from Palo Alto to Happy Valley. Kentucky is included, along with the home state school, Ohio State.

A 6-foot-6 250-pound prospect, Wagner is the ninth-ranked offensive tackle and No. 88 prospect overall in the class of 2022, according to 247 Sports. The younger brother of former UK wide receiver Ahmad Wagner, the Big Dog has known Aamil for quite some time. The only problem is that Wagner recently picked up an offer from Ohio State, an opportunity that eluded his older brother. Wagner recently spoke about the offer’s significance and updated his recruitment with Jeremy Birmingham of Letterman Row.
It could be awfully difficult to convince Wagner to leave his home state school. If Marrow can pull off the task, the Wildcats will be getting an impressive athlete in the trenches.
