As the 2019-20 roster is starting to take shape, the Kentucky coaching staff is slowly ramping up its recruiting efforts for the class of 2020.
After visiting several big-name five-star prospects over the last few weeks, Kentucky is now set to visit with 2020 five-star guard Johnny Juzang over the next few days, per Evan Daniels of 247 Sports.

Juzang, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard out of Studio City, CA, is considered a consensus top-25 prospect in the class of 2020. ESPN lists him as the No. 19 overall prospect in the class, while Rivals has him at No. 22 and 247 Sports lists him at No. 24 overall.
While Kentucky has not extended a scholarship offer yet, Juzang holds offers from Kansas, Virginia, UCLA, and USC, among several others.
247 Sports’ scouting analysis likes what the 6-foot-7 prospect has to offer, highlighting his length and shooting ability.
“Scoring wing with good size and long arms,” the report says. “Shoot-first but much improved efficiency. Big time threat off the dribble as a shooter from both midrange and three. Can knock down threes in bunches from perimeter and also has a strong one- and two-dribble pull-up game. Can get to the basket but is most comfortable scoring with his jumper. Size, length and athleticism give him upside as versatile defender. Can improve shot selection and handle. Projects as productive high major wing with NBA upside due to his shot making ability at his size.”
Kentucky has offered ten prospects in 2020, with each of them ranked by their respective positions below:
PG: Jeremy Roach, Sharife Cooper
SG: Jalen Green, BJ Boston
CG: RJ Hampton
SF: Jalen Johnson, Scottie Barnes
PF: Isaiah Todd
C: Cliff Omoruyi, N’Faly Dante
