Kentucky is in contention for one of the most sought after junior college defensive backs in America.

Saturday afternoon Khyree Jackson made two significant recruiting announcements. The talented cornerback will reveal his college decision July 11 and it will be one of the six following schools: Alabama, Oregon, Florida, Oklahoma, South Carolina or Kentucky.

The 6-3 athlete is originally from Prince George’s County, MD, the county adjacent to Washington D.C. Under-recruited out of high school as a quarterback, he became an enticing recruit once he dedicated himself to playing defensive back at Fort Scott. This fall he’ll suit up for East Mississippi C.C.

It only takes one minutes of highlights to understand why he’s one of the most sought after cornerbacks at the JUCO level.

Really on see one team on that list other than us that he would consider Bama and that ain’t a lock . Considering how Uk has beaten Bama out the trail for players recently . We have surpassed the Gators and SC not even in on our level. Yahtzee coming soon.

FL has been ranked higher than UK in recruiting since ole Dan got there. Really no comparison. I agree we’ve passed USC. But that’s a tough list of schools to compete with. I’m just amazed how many final lists we are making for elite talent.
