Right now there is no shortage of positive Kentucky football recruiting news. After a weekend of high profile official visitors and a four-star commitment, the Cats are finalists for one of the best football players in America.
Four-star defensive end Darrion Henry announced he is down to six schools: Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Kentucky.
A 6’6″ 260-pound pass rusher, the Cincinnati native is the No. 45 player overall and the No. 3 defensive end in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the 247 Composite rankings. Recruited by Vince Marrow, Henry unofficially visited UK’s campus in February with two other talented Cincinnati prospects, five-star offensive tackle Paris Johnson and his Princeton teammate, four-star linebacker Jaheim Thomas.
Currently all 12 of Henry’s Crystal Ball picks are for Ohio State. There’s still plenty of time for the Big Dog to convince Henry to rock the Big Blue.
