Late last night, a group of hackers released 35 GB worth of data belonging to AshleyMadison.com, a website geared towards helping people have affairs. The data includes email addresses of users registered to the site, along with profile information, financial records, etc.
37 million email addresses were leaked, and 15,000 of those are on government or military servers. In fact, 73 email addresses were from ky.gov, the eighth-highest from any government or military domain. Uh oh! The top three? The US Army, with 6,788; the Navy, with 1,665; and the Marine Corps, with 809.
Anyone in Frankfort feeling nervous?
