Kentucky Football Offers Scholarship to Son of Former UK Great

The Kentucky Wildcats are recruiting the son of one of the most celebrated offensive linemen in program history.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Antonio Hall remains UK’s highest-ranked signee in the internet era, ahead of Micah Johnson and Justin Rogers as the No. 12 player in the class of 2000. Once he got to Lexington, the Canton, Oh. native played right away, earning Freshman All-American Honors before he was named All-SEC twice.

Now his son is earning offers on the recruiting trail. Nik Hall is a 6-foot-6 285-pound offensive tackle for Akins High School in Austin, Tx. Antonio Hall thanked the UK coaching staff on Twitter for giving his son a shot at his alma mater.

Hall earned a starting role as a sophomore at left guard. This year he’s kicked out to left tackle. The offers have not yet rolled in, but Hall has a bright future.

He was a stalwart on the UK line. One of the best o-line players outside of Dermontti Dawson. He was a Logan Stenberg type of player.
