Kentucky Football Offers Eighth Grade Quarterback

Before picking a high school, one gunslinger from Georgia already has an option for college.

Today Prentiss “Air” Noland announced on Twitter that he has received a scholarship offer the the University of Kentucky. It’s the first scholarship offer for the lengthy lefty from Atlanta.

A member of the class of 2024, the scholarship offer is not as obscenely early as you might think. In fact, the recruiting tactic has already worked for Kentucky. Steve Clinkscale offered Justin Rogers a scholarship when the big man was an eighth grader. Fast forward four years and the five-star recruit is a UK signee.

Kentucky has tried to make headway with quarterbacks by offering earlier than any other programs. It may be too early for some fans’ liking, but there’s no denying it — the kid throws darts.

Yes, he was a basketball recruit from the BCG era, when UK would take anyone with a pulse. Remember the name Justin Rogers?

Nice Clutch! Hahaha. Big difference in between M. Avery and the # 1 QB in his class.

Whatever it takes within the rules. Obviously this isn’t a take and I am sure they gave him a list of developmental milestones in order to reach an offer. This good PR for the kid and UK gets some level of first to notice cred.

Is it just me or are those receivers #6 and #18 outstanding for their age? Could be a package deal!!

The only problem will be if he picks UK they will drop him from the #1 rated qb to the # 7 qb

He’s in the 8th grade my friend. Lol. He’s got plenty time to learn about us. I did notice it to but just laughed a little bit. Anyway, the Kids got a big game and a bright future ahead of him. Lets hope he stays grounded. It’d be hard to with all the love he’ll get.

Might as well go ahead and offer #18 a scholarship too. That kid was equally impressive.

He is an 8th grader with an embroidered nickname ( “Air” ) on his towel. He is a head taller than his OL. He is 12 or 13 y/o and SLIDES ? ” ….. REMAIN grounded ( ??? ) …. )
