Kent Bulle is tied for 12th at the British Open

Need a reason to celebrate? Glasgow native and KSR friend Kent Bulle is tied for 12th in The British Open. Bulle shot a scorching hot 68 to finish at -2, which has him tied with the likes of Ernie Els, Hideki Matsuyama, and Bubba Watson. After day one, he’s only three shots off the lead, which is held by Brooks Koepka, Matt Kuchar, and Jordan Spieth. I hear those guys are pretty good.

Even ESPN is taking notice of Kent’s big round:

As you might imagine, Drew Franklin was pretty excited:

Yes, that came through on TV:

Vamanos El Toro! He tees off bright and early tomorrow at 5:53 a.m., so set your alarm.

How quickly we (or at least KSR) forgets – JB Holmes is also playing. Remember him? From Campbellsville, KY? Played at UK? Starts today tied for 27th.
