Keeneland’s Railbird Music Festival Canceled by Coronavirus Pandemic

The second edition of Kentucky’s Railbird Festival will have to wait another year.

In 2019 the music festival was a smashing success, drawing thousands to the grounds at Keeneland to see Tyler Childers, Gary Clark Jr., Hozier and a host of other musical acts tear up the stage. The 2020 event was poised for a repeat performance with Jason Isbell, Maren Morris and The Head & The Heart on the lineup, but coronavirus had other plans.

Event organizers announced Railbird Festival 2020 has been canceled.

“The health and safety of our fans, artists, staff, and community is our number one priority. Rest assured Railbird will return to the grounds at Keeneland August 20-21, 2021,” they said in a statement.

If you previously purchased tickets to the event, full refunds will be issued or you can roll your tickets over to 2021. Individuals that choose to keep their tickets for next year will get early access to purchase Railbird Select Single Barrel Bourbons.
