Keeneland unveils Breeders’ Cup Maker’s Mark bottle

Next weekend the bourbon will flow like water throughout the Bluegrass when Keeneland hosts the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on Friday and Saturday. Only the second time the venue has hosted the event, even though patrons will not be permitted to attend, it’s still worth celebrating with a glass of bourbon.

To mark the special occasion, Maker’s Mark will release a limited edition, all-white bottle that is dipped in two separate-colored waxes, the Breeders’ Cup’s purple and Keeneland’s green. Who knew purple and green were such a good looking combination?

The limited edition bottles go on sale Friday, Oct. 30. All proceeds from bottle sales will go directly to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF).

Keeneland can suck it, I haven’t wagered a dollar with them this fall. Cowards.
