Kash Daniel bumped up to a 4-star by Rivals

Future UK offensive lineman Landon Young’s been stealing the headlines lately for earning a fifth star from 247 Sports and Rivals, but today, his future teammate Kash Daniel got some love from Rivals as well. Rivals upgraded Kash from a three-star prospect to a four-star prospect this morning, a well-deserved honor after an impressive performance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Even with the fourth-star, Kash did not make the new Rivals 250 rankings; however, Landon Young and future defensive back Jordan Griffin did, checking in at #29 and #191, respectively. According to Rivals, Kentucky’s 2016 class now includes one five-star player (Landon Young) and four four-star players (Daniel, Griffin, Tate Leavitt, and Drake Jackson). The class is currently ranked 19th in Rivals’ Team Rankings, although those haven’t been updated to reflect Kash’s new four-star status.

This is a good excuse to share this video of Kash, Landon, and Drake Jackson at the Army All-American Bowl:

Just so you don’t miss it, here are their favorite emojis:

  • Drake Jackson: ðŸ™ƒ
  • Landon Young: ðŸ¤“
  • Kash Daniel: ðŸ˜˜

I don’t even know what the upside down smiley face means.

Allow me to get these comments out of the way…

Stoops is not going to make it happen here. He can’t coach. 3rd offensive coordinator. We will never have a winning football program. Doesn’t matter if you can’t develop talent. We will be lucky to win 4 games next year….BLAH BLAH BLAH. Yadda Yadda Yaddaa…Every other negative comment.

Now for how I really feel. Congrats Cash on the 4th start, well deserved.

Stoops is building a pool of talent at UK, that will take time to put together. next year will see marked improvement across the board now that the distraction with the offense is out of the way.

“I don’t even know what the upside down smiley face means.” – I’m going to pretend it is an opposing defensive lineman after a pancake block.

I’m sure many see offensive coordinator changes as a bad thing, but i think it goes to show Stoops is not willing to settle. People thought the sky was falling when Towles and Phillips left, but why? Reese is not a D1 QB, plain and simple. And Towles has little accuracy and a ton of interceptions. This is the year to show major progess and if we see another season crap out the way the last two did, then I think its time to start exploring options.
