Karl Towns has a new mixtape

Good morning, Kentucky basketball fans, here’s a reminder that Karl Towns is good at basketball. Towns, ranked 11th overall in the Rivals150, flies a little under the radar compared to other members of the 2014 class, in part because he has been committed to Kentucky for so long and he didn’t participate in the summer AAU circuit or the Elite 24 all-star game. I think that lack of exposure and head-to-head competition with the others is the reason he fell out of the top 10 when the latest edition of the rankings were released last month. He’s still really good, as you can see.

Go future Cats.

I like his ball skills, agility and touch a lot. He reminds me of Davis or Prince with those skills. Just like those kids, he needs to get stronger.

But, I cant wait for this kid to get to Lexington. He will be a fun kid to watch play.

Can you imagine the competition in practice with Karl Towns and Jahlil Okafor, they would clash like titans.

Is he actually going to play in the post? I know he has skills and flashes of KD, but Cliff Alexander dominated him in the paint this past year according to previous reports.
