Former Kentucky superstar linebacker Josh Allen is spending his offseason putting smiles on faces.

According to News4Jax out of Jacksonville, FL, Allen surprised a local kindergarten teacher with an end-of-year virtual call on the last day of class.

After learning of Jacksonville Beach Elementary teacher Lori Cheanvechai’s passion for the University of Kentucky, one of the kindergarten parents made some calls and asked Allen to surprise her, something the former Wildcat happily agreed to. Allen, along with the rest of the kindergarteners, were all in on the secret.

During the end-of-year call with the class, Cheanvechai was told there would be a surprise guest. Little did she know it would be one of her favorite athletes saying hello.

“Josh Allen is my favorite player,” Cheanvechai told News4Jax. “I’m a big, huge Josh Allen fan because I watched him at UK and I’ve been so excited to see him play here.”

According to the report, Allen spent half an hour answering questions for the class on the last day of school, with some of the examples being pretty darn funny.

“Is football hard?”

“Do you remember your kindergarten teacher?

“Do you have a pet?”

“I was really impressed with how he took the time to interact with every child that came up with a question,” Cheanvechai said. “It did my heart a lot of good to know that he was giving back in a way that he didn’t have to.”

Well done, big fella.
