Jorts Keeping the Jorts Name Alive

I’m not sure if it’s scientifically proven, but it’s impossible to cheer against Josh Harrellson. This picture is from the Wizards media day today, in which Harrellson is doing his best job at keeping the nickname Big Jorts alive – as it should be. The Wizards signed him to a training camp deal, which is non-guaranteed, this offseason.

Harrellson was drafted by the Knicks in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft and also spent time with the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons. On top of that he played last season with the Chongqing Flying Dragons in the Chinese Basketball Association and with Brujos de Guayama in Baloncesto Superior Nacional, Puerto Rico’s top basketball league.

Best of luck to Jorts as he tries to make the Wizards roster.

Love Jorts, when his playing days end Cal should hire him as a recruiter. (I hope it’s not anytime soon). There is no better example of what playing for Cal at Kentucky can do for your career.
