Jordan Lovett to Announce College Decision Wednesday

One of Kentucky’s top targets in the secondary will soon reveal his next destination.

North Hardin defensive back Jordan Lovett will announce his college decision Wednesday at noon. Along with the Wildcats, Lovett is considering Louisville, Missouri, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Boston College and Georgia Tech.

A three-star prospect, Lovett is the No. 5 player from the state of Kentucky according to Rivals. 247 Sports ranks Lovett as one of the 50 best safeties in America. Each service predicts he will choose Kentucky.

Vince Marrow has already successfully recruited two players from North Hardin High School, freshman defensive lineman Octavious Oxendine and 2021 running back La’Vell Wright. The Big Dog could hit the trifecta Wednesday afternoon.

I like his size in our 2ndary, along with the rest of the younger crop of DBs, he should fit in well. Expect a YAHTZEE come Wednesday. I’m not too worried about stars or anything like that. This staff has already proven their ability to develop “lower-rated” players. If the athletic ability and higher football I.Q., and desire to learn is there, then they will rise and contribute in the best conference in America. Go Cats – STOOPSTROOPS

The North Hardin kids hold each other accountable for taking care of business, so he should have no problem stepping right into the culture at UK.

We definitely need to lock down the most talented players in the state. I am not worried about the stars either. If Vince sees that potential he’s looking for in a player, then that is the player I want.
