John Calipari is now in Barcelona

After touring Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Bologna, and Rome, John Calipari’s European vacation made a pitstop in Barcelona, Spain this afternoon, where he checked out the Sagrada Familia and walked along the beach:

While we’re playing “Must be nice to be Cal,” did anyone else notice his pictures from inside the Sistine Chapel? Photos are forbidden inside the sacred space, but I guess if you’re John Calipari, they’ll let it slide:

I just commented on another story that I think we are more worried about Jaden McDaniels than Coach Cal.

Cool true story…I lived in Barcelona for a year a couple blocks from the Sagrada Familia, with a Spanish couple. The architect, Antoni Gaudi, was a known pot smoker and didn’t favor using architectural plans. If you know his work it makes perfect sense. So he died in 1926, before the Sagrada Familia was finished. They’ve spent almost the last 100 years trying to finish it. Lol. Standing there, half looks naturally artistic and warm and the half they’ve tried to finish rigid and cold. So, smoke up and be creative!!

Cue the “fans” who will complain that Cal should be in the gym running free throw drills until midnight.
