Jerry Meyer thinks Bolden will pick Duke

We’re less than 24 hours away from Marques Bolden’s announcement, and while there’s been some buzz in Kentucky’s direction on social media, one recruiting expert is sticking with Duke. Jerry Meyer, 247 Sports’ Director of Basketball Scouting, wrote this evening that he’s expecting Bolden to announce he’s going to Duke.

“My prediction for Bolden is Duke,” Meyer said, sticking to his Crystal Ball pick from April 6.

The Blue Devils hold a slight lead over Kentucky in Bolden’s Crystal Ball, with 52% of predictions to Kentucky’s 39%. If it makes you feel any better, Meyer’s 247 Sports colleague Josh Ahler predicted Bolden to Kentucky yesterday.

Thankfully we’ll know soon enough.

Meyer is half the man he use to be… and twice the lady.

He’s just trying to make it easier for himself to use the restroom in NC.

My prediction is Bolden will pick UK tomorrow, write it down! There are signs unless Bolden is the Greatest deceiver since the devil!

If Jerry picks Duke, I’m confident Bolden picks any other team.

“Irregardless”, as Mike has been heard to say, in Durham and elsewhere; dook will have an unbelievable team next year. The question is: Will the committee see fit to give them another, ad finitum, perennial CAKE WALK – not in spite of …but in addition thereto? If so, the selectors should be riding the burning couches of fandom in cities across the country.

That would be pretty cold to follow Brad Calipari on Twitter one day then choose Duke the next.
