Jeff Goodman Chimes in on Top 5 Point Guards

goodman

This is starting to become the ‘is Joe Flacco elite’ conversation of the college basketball world. Is Tyler Ulis a top five point guard in the country?

Even our beloved, err whatever we want to call him, Jeff Goodman chimed in on Twitter. Now, this will be shocking. Goodman AGREES Ulis is a top-5 point guard in the country. Someone tweeted at him the top 5 in order was Kris Dunn, Melo Trimble, Nic Moore, Monte Morris and Tyler.

Goodman’s response? ‘Tough to argue with that list.’ So, I guess Jeff is #TeamTyler and #TeamKyle?

Is it bad that I’ve never heard of Nick Moore and Monte Morris?

ESPN mobile app just has a picture of the SMU mustangs logo by his name instead of his picture. Now I don’t feel so bad.

Show me a PG better than Tyler Ulis. I watched Dunn today he didn’t show me anything, couldn’t carry Tyler’s jock strap!

There is a bias against Tyler due to his size. If he was 6′ 3″ and playing exactly the same way, he would be considered the #1 point guard in America. Those in the know already consider him the best.

C’mon man, don’t lift jokes from other writers. It’s lame.
