Nobody picks Alabama over Kentucky…this kid just had Kentucky on his list to be a good kid, Just like Damien Harris did
Can’t say I blame him…. That is like a bball recruit deciding to go to Louisville over the Cayuts, without the whole hooker thing……
funny little video but more importantly the kid made the right choice! good luck to him
Was Duke on his offer list?
I can’t be mad at him for doing what is best in his situation. He didn’t string the UK staff along like the other one mentioned, and I respect that.
Totally agree, and I couldn’t have said it better.
Classily done…
I wish Him well.
Wish him well! Great kid and you can’t blame him for picking Alabama. If we could have beaten Southern Miss, Georgia and Tenn. then things might be different! Until we take the next step, you cannot expect these guys to pick KY.
It really stings to see UK working so hard to improve things and have the best talent going elsewhere, but I completely understand their decisions. Stoops has a little work left to do to prove that he’s got a contender built here in Lex. Hopefully in few more years we can give these guys an easier decision to make to stay home and play at UK.
Echoing the others, I can’t blame him for going to ‘Bama. But I don’t think we can truly say that UK has turned the corner in building the football program until they win enough to keep highly talented kids like this in state. Perhaps if we had not taken the Joker detour after Brooks had retired we would already be there.
See ya. That is all.
It does kind of hurt to see that Alabama managed to keep their top basketball recruit in-state (with a new coach, no less), while we can’t do the same with a football recruit. Just don’t understand what these basketball kids are thinking. Go to the home school and get paid right away, or come to Kentucky and get paid a LOT more in a year. 😉
gayyyy
Good luck Kid even tho your Family and Friends aren’t happy about the drive
Hell with Willis..move your whole fam out of KY….pos
