For the second time in a row, JB Holmes was a member of the winning USA Ryder Cup Team. A big congratulations is in order for the former UK golfer and Kentucky native. The United States is 2-0 in the Ryder Cup with Holmes on their team, which can’t be said about any other active American.

Holmes leads the PGA Tour in driving distance with a 314.5 average off the tee, and it paid off at the Ryder Cup. Team USA beat Europe 17-11, ending the European winning streak. This was their first Ryder Cup win in eight years.

Don’t like golf, but appreciate excellence and the Kentucky connection.
    Also appreciate whipping the eurotrash.

Congrats to JB. To be fair I don’t believe him leading the tour in driving distance had anything to do with helping the US win back the cup. He was one of 2 players on the US team that had a losing record for the week. He and Moore got worked in fourball on Friday and he was no match for Pieters during singles. I always cheer for him but I bet that will be his last Ryder Cup appearance.
