Jaylen Brown and Brandon Ingram visiting UCLA today

Two of UK’s top 2015 targets are visiting UCLA today: Jaylen Brown and Brandon Ingram.

Brown’s visit may the most worrisome, since he said this past weekend that the Bruins’ affiliation with adidas could give them an advantage in his recruitment. Brown’s EYBL team is sponsored by adidas, and he’s said that going to an adidas school is very appealing to him. Hmm. Calipari and the staff are very high on Brown, and are pushing to get him on campus for Big Blue Madness on October 18, especially because of the rumors Brown wants to commit on his birthday, October 24. Currently, his list includes Kentucky, UCLA, Kansas, Georgia, and Alabama.

Meanwhile, UCLA isn’t considered a frontrunner for Ingram, the 4th best small forward in the 2015 class (247 Sports Composite). Duke and North Carolina are the favorites for the North Carolina native, but Ingram told ZagsBlog yesterday that he “definitely” plans to take an official visit to Kentucky and Kansas. He’ll visit Duke this upcoming weekend.

Don’t enjoy yourselves too much today, boys. Hopefully Pauley’s still a little mildewy after last week’s flood:

Hey…. You guys remember this quote??

“I’m here because I can recruit the best of the best… here”

Umm I think Duke, Kansas, and Arizona are getting the best players now!

Cal has 16 5-star recruits in 5 seasons, and Miller has 11 in the same time period. No one else is even close to those 2. But if Miller brings in 5 this season and UK gets none (unlikely) Miller will only tie Cal. Cal is getting the best of the best. Oh and what are these other schools doing with these 5-star players? How many FF’s does Miller have in the last 5 seasons? Cal is getting it done and it freaks the trolls.

      Excellent points, CinciCat, but:

      B.P. 5 > U.K. 1

Just sayin… Oh, I didn’t realize that these guys have already picked a school. What month is it right now? You’re seriously delusional. Last I checked, Cal has had the #1 recruiting class every year he’s been here, with the exception of last year. Not to mention, Cals players actually pan out in the NBA, unlike these other schools. Go clean up your line beard
