Jarren Williams is Spending his Weekend at the Elite 11 Finals

UK’s message to Williams

Future Kentucky quarterback Jarren Williams is representing the Wildcats this weekend in Los Angeles at the Elite 11 Finals.

Nike’s premiere quarterback camp, Williams is the third UK quarterback to represent the Wildcats since Patrick Towles attended the camp in 2011.  Drew Barker was also an Elite 11 finalist.

The camp selects 24 of the nation’s best quarterbacks and runs them through the gauntlet to see who are the best 11 passers in the nation.  Williams earned a four-star ranking from Rivals earlier this week, but he’s been an underrated prospect throughout his recruitment.  This weekend Williams gets a chance to prove himself against the best of the best.

After his trip to the West Coast, Williams will make a trip to Lexington next weekend to camp at UK’s two premiere camps on Saturday and Sunday night.

I wish him well. Him earning a top 11 is good for both him and the program.
