We found out earlier this week that James Wiseman will take his official visit to Kentucky next weekend, but when the original news broke, the rest of his visit schedule was still in flux. This afternoon, Wiseman’s mother Donzaleigh Artis told Evan Daniels her son will take his fourth official visit to Florida State on October 25.
Wiseman will also visit Kansas on September 28 and Vanderbilt on October 14, a week or so after he originally planned to due to a conflict with USA Basketball. Still no word on whether he will use his fifth and final official visit, but all four of the schools mentioned will also get in-home visits. What about Memphis? Wiseman goes to high school there, so it’s not like he hasn’t been to the University of Memphis before and Penny Hardaway used to be his coach, so he knows him well…but still. Maybe he wants to use it on Arizona, North Carolina, or Texas instead?
In case you missed it, here’s TJ’s take on Wiseman’s visit schedule and his mother’s comments insisting it’s not a two-horse race between Kentucky and Memphis.
