I look forward to hear what Jamal Murray has to say. Did Ryan need an Uber for the drive home yesterday?

I did see the Mike Pape’s Campaign Ad on LEX18 this morning, wow. Just dumb.

Jamaal is Johnny on the Spot. He is probably on time for all his classes too – eat it, Bobby Knight! 😀

Every time “Body Shapes Medical” says “it helps his belly” I get the image of Fat Bastard from Austin Powers in my head saying “Get in my Belly!” 🙂

In order to teach in Kentucky, you have to have a masters. (You can start teaching while working on your masters, but it has to be started in a certain amount of time after obtaining your undergrad degree, and finish it in a certain amount of time.) As this is the case, how can you even get onto the Board of Education with only a high school diploma or GED??

I really don’t understand Bolden’s family’s love of Duke. Why? What is their reasoning?

Same. Maybe they buy into the false media narrative about how they’re somehow doing things more right than KY is.

Not listening to the show…Did they say his family did love Duke?

According to Matt, Bolden’s family loves Duke and wants him to go there, but Bolden likes UK. Hence, no decision yet.

Top ten nationally in academic rankings; absolutely beautiful campus; better weather; it’s not hard to understand why they would like the school itself. UK and Duke may be equals in the basketball world, but in terms of the schools themselves, there really isn’t much comparison.

NDI, you’re right, and if Bolder were a regular student, you’d have a valid argument. However, as an elite basketball player, the situation is a bit different. Both Duke and UK basketball have perfect APR scores. A player will be a rock-star either place. Cal is better at preparing players for the NBA, and there are numbers to back that up. His ultimate goal is to become an NBA player.

Caller’s right. Matt is an excellent interviewer, but he needs to stop cutting people off mid-sentence. Does it in his podcast too.
