Matt made a good point yesterday. Many UK fans think only season ticket holders are going to help finance the football stadium renovation, when in fact, all fans are going to pay with higher cable bills. Revenue from the SEC network has to come from somewhere, and it’s coming from higher cable bills and advertising.

Matt, one thing that is not being considered is the FCS schools may pitch a fit if the SEC schools are required to drop playing them, because a big portion of their athletic budgets are made up of payments from the bigger schools to play them. You take that away, then FCS schools may struggle to be able to compete.

5-7 for bowl eligible? No offense to Saban, but that statement is about $$$ because he knows Alabama would get another paycheck from the Dunder Mifflin Paper Bowl, no matter how small it might be. What does the FAN want? I’d rather it be at 7 wins for bowl eligible… quality over quantity.

    GENDER: Masculine

USAGE: Ancient Roman, English, Biblical, Biblical Latin

PRONOUNCED: TI-tuws (Ancient Roman), TIE-təs (English) [key]

    Meaning & History:
Roman praenomen, or given name, which is of unknown meaning, possibly related to Latin titulus “title of honour”. In the New Testament, Titus is a companion of Saint Paul. He became the first bishop of Crete and was the recipient of one of Paul’s epistles. This name was also borne by a 1st-century Roman emperor. Shakespeare later used it for the main character in his tragedy ‘Titus Andronicus’ (1593). As an English name, Titus has been occasionally used since the Protestant Reformation.

I’d love to play Cincy on a yearly basis. Historically, we own them in football and basketball but I just want to continuously beat them down every year so I can shove it in these Cincy fans faces. The only time they ever support either team is when they (the teams) are mediocre and they (the fans) think they’re title contenders. Cincy fans absolutely hate UK fans. Probably because there are just as many UK fans in the Greater Cincinnati Area than there are UC fans. When we won the title in 2012 and the Reds had the team up to honor them, all I heard on 700WLW was how Reds fans should boycott the team and games because a Cincinnati team was honoring UK. CHOKinati teams will always suck. I always root for UL when they play UC cause at least a team from Kentucky can continuously pound them.

About 10 years ago (or more)Peyton Manning was in a Pittsburgh restaurant and asked a girl out who was waiting on the table. She said she had a boyfriend and didn’t give out her number. While Peyton was in the kitchen(signing autographs) he took her number off of a list and later called her up. She gave Peyton’s number to her boyfriend and his friends and every time the steelers beat indy or indy lost a game they would leave him about 20 messages telling him how much he sucked.
