One of the state’s top uncommitted football recruits will announce his college decision Friday night.
Three-star outside linebacker Shawnkel Knight-Goff will choose either Kentucky or Louisville during halftime Senior Night ceremonies at Louisville Doss High School.
The ninth-ranked player in the state of Kentucky, Knight-Goff is a versatile athlete that can play a variety of positions. A one-time Kentucky commit, most believe he’ll will rejoin UK’s 2019 recruiting class this Friday.
If Knight-Goff picks Kentucky, he will become the Cats’ second commitment from the city of Louisville, the third Kentuckian and the 19th member of the 2019 class. Vince Marrow expects to take 25 players in this class.
Knight-Goff’s decision will be one week before J.J. Weaver and Wandale Robinson announce where they will play college football. Friday night could be the first domino to fall for a monumental recruiting week.
