For the first time in his recruitment, Immanuel Quickley has said Kentucky is the leader for his services.
The five-star guard was a guest with Evan Daniels on today’s edition of Kentucky Sports Radio radio (with a few minor audio complications) and Quickley told him, “I think right now Kentucky is definitely the favorite. I think it’s an advantage because I’m getting to know Coach Calipari right now.”
Quickley did say he is still considering his three other finalists — Maryland, Miami and Kansas — but at this moment, Kentucky has the lead over that bunch.
The plan is still to make and announce a decision before the beginning of his senior year of high school this fall, he added. He will start taking his four officials visits soon.
