Immanuel Quickley playing on ESPNU

Looking for something to watch while sitting around the house on your day off?

Flip over to ESPNU right now to get a look at Immanuel Quickley in action on national TV.

John Calipari’s first commit in his 2018 recruiting class is playing in the Hoophall Classic up in Massachusetts. He and his John Carrol teammates are playing Hudson Catholic, which features five-star prospect Louis King, who was recruited by Kentucky before committing to Oregon last fall.

Then later this evening, UK signee Keldon Johnson will play in the 3 pm game with Oak Hill, also on ESPNU.

Blue appears to have gotten in.

They had RJ Barrett on during halftime and he spoke briefly about his decision. From what went into his decision he wanted to go somewhere that was familiar and comfortable. Without a challenge you’re not going to even touch your potential. Sorry kid.

How are they getting these studs Bagley,Reddish, and Barrett? I just don’t understand.

It certainly is baffling but from what I understand they have been doing a very good job of, let’s just say “using all their resources”. Playing up “a Dook education is better than any other education”, “when you come to Dook you’re set for life”, “Playing for Coach K is one of the greatest honors in basketball”, “When you come here you become a champion not only in basketball but in life”.

For what it’s worth I am selling someone out that used to be apart of that program who currently works at the university that I work at in Evanston, Illinois.

This class also watched Calipari lose in the U17.

That whole U17 experience hurt in so many ways. Bol Bol would be on UK’s roster next year if Cal wasn’t apart of it and RJ Barrett dropping 39 on the USA team was a ploy to try to get him to come to UK but in the event of lighting up team USA other guys got buckets too leading USA to lose to Canada. Class could’ve been RJ, Bol, Quickley, and probably one of the other current two Herro or Johnson
