Happy Memorial Day, folks. I’ve stepped in to give Drew a much-needed break after spending my day in the movie theater and on the couch with a hangover (as all Memorial Days should be spent).
Fortunately, it looks like our favorite UK players and coaches celebrated Memorial Day in a much more exciting fashion. Here’s a wrap up of how they spent the holiday, mini Tweet Beat style:
Coach Cal is still in Florida and tweeted out this message of thanks to our nation’s servicemen and women:
We should do this more often, but I want to make sure everyone takes some time today to thank everyone who has served in our country. We can’t thank the brave men and women who have served or are still serving enough for all that they do for our country. Their sacrifices have made this country what it is today — the greatest country in the world.
Rajon Rondo, DeMarcus Cousins, and Josh Harrellson also thanked the troops:
Thanks to all the men and women who fight to keep us safe today and everyday.

R.I.P. to all of our fallen soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom 🙌🇺🇸

Remembering all of the current and former men and women who have served our country & thanking them for their sacrifices! #Salute

Jon Hood was fishing at the lake because that’s what Jon Hood does:
The Harrison Twins worked out with former Jayhawk Josh Selby:
Stone Cold Willow jumped in a pool, which upset one lady and made some UK football players laugh:
Aaron Harrison also did a little subtweeting…
She follows the whole team, all the recruits, and half of the managers😂✋

To be fair, Aaron I follow all of the managers, not just half.
How did you spend your Memorial Day?
