How the NFL Cats Fared this Weekend

via Vice

—  Avery Williamson stole the show by putting on one.  You’ve seen it on the site before, but we had to show you the hotline bling one more time.  After he Hotline Bling’d on Cam, he took offense when Cam “Hit the Dab” in the end zone.  I loved seeing him and Woodyard pissed off so much it made it into my “UK Student News” Sportscast.

I feel bad for them because they’ve put together a solid defense, but the Titans are inept offensively, now 2-7 on the season.  Avery finished with a career-high 16 tackles, 3 TFL and 2 QB hurries along with that sack.  Woodyard also had a sack to go with his 8 tackles.

—  The Ravens’ couldn’t beat Jacksonville, but Za’Darius Smith had two tackles and a pass deflection.

Bud Dupree had three tackles in the Steelers win over the Browns.  Too bad he couldn’t take down Johnny Football a time or two…

—  Danny Trevathan had 6 tackles for the Broncos, but his defense did not have their best day.  Denver gave up 29 points to the abysmal Kansas City offense.  Peyton Manning may have broken the record for career passing yards, but his old arm isn’t going to carry the Broncos deep into the playoffs, it will be Danny and the Denver defense that need to carry the load.

—  I can’t believe the Packers have lost three straight games.  It’s even more unbelievable that they lost to the Lions at Lambeau for the first time in eleventy thousand years.  Randall Cobb hasn’t been scoring a many touchdowns, but he still had 5 catches for 53 yards with a long of 20.  They’ll need him to turn more of those 20 yard catches into touchdowns to get out of this funk.

—  Stevie Johnson and Jacob Tamme were off with a Bye Week.
