Unfortunately, our lawmakers have been robbing Peter to pay Paul for a long time. Just curious, how are the lawmakers’ pensions doing?

It is important to understand these proposals are from a 3rd party firm and not the governor. many of the proposals are not legal, according to K.R.S. 61.692. The Governor himself has not proposed anything, and even said many of the proposals from the 3rd party firm would not be morally or ethically right to do, on top of not being legal and many of them would not be considered.

One of the national stereotypes of Kentucky is the long standing tradition of poverty. It is more famous than bourbon or Kentucky basketball. Most of the other 49 states see Kentucky as a state controlled by liberals for 200 years and poverty as a way to keep the people in line and dependent. You seem to have a governor now who is trying to correct that and make Kentucky fiscal responsible. Good luck because your tradition is so deep it will be a monumental task.

Matt, you are absolutely obsessed with Bevin. It’s a topic on your show almost every night.
