I love the SEC network, but… Ugh, I guess that means they’ll have announcers talking over the whole B/W scrimmage, and constantly breaking away so that we can’t watch them play.

I cannot wait to hear the announcers talk during the game tonight! Who needs to see what’s going on during the game. I hope the camera is on the announcers (and the dipping guy) all night and we can just guess what is going on in the game!

Billy Reid is also starting his own new version of Scientology. John Calipari’s alien life form caused this scandal.

The worst comment wasn’t even from Billy Reed. Drew Deener suggested that his theory is Katina Powell wanted her daughter to be the baby momma of a NBA player and when that didn’t happen she released the fury.

Also said the 200 money order could have been to fix her car for all we know.

    • To be honest with you, the NBA thing wouldn’t surprise me. With the way groupies chase pro (and college) athletes, and if a woman is already low-down enough to pimp her daughters, the NBA angle is not that much of a stretch IMO. However, it’s still speculation on his part.

If she wanted an NBA grandbaby-daddy, then why would she have chosen Louisville?

  8. Random note, but congrats to John Short for finally getting to meet Cal! I’m surprised it took this long for it to happen.

Also, the Billy Reed thing is unbelievable. I don’t know how old a man he is, and I’m not trying to be unkind to anyone suffering from this…I’m being serious: does he need to be evaluated for some form of senility?

Matt forgot about tennis players. Both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have their own Nike lines which sell like hotcakes all over the world.

  10. I’m not a sneaker head, but I do have on my office shelf at work a pair of the Nike Dunks that UK wore at least 1 of the Sutton years. Ultra cool and the best looking shoe UK ever wore!

Also the best looking uni was when they had the Wildcat (the one that was just the face) on the shorts on the left thigh. It was the same year(s) I think.

  13. It totally doesn’t make sense that we might catch UGA sleeping. We’re on the road so if fatigue is a factor it would be for us, not them (also because they’re deeper).

I don’t see us coming within 3-4 TD’s against Georgia.

    • That’s what I’m thinking unfortunately. I hope I’m wrong obviously, but we missed a golden opportunity against Auburn at home, and MSU showed how tough it is for us to win on the road in this league. Hopefully we can beat UT (another tall order even at home) so we can be set up to win at least 7 if we can beat Vandy, and even 8 if we can get UL.

    • Also missed a golden opportunity with UF of course.

I don’t see our defense being able to stop Dobbs of UT either to be honest. We better outscore them. Dual-threat QB’s are the most successful at the college level. Coach Dawson needs to loosen the reigns on Towles’ running game.

How do we get the depth we need when every player that’s not high on the chart decides to transfer?

    • ukjaybrat
      11:59 am October 27, 2015 Permalink

That’s the problem to building a successful program. If all you have is the promise of playing time, and you aren’t getting any playing time. You’re going to want to go somewhere else. Teams that have already made it like Bama don’t need to promise players playing time right away. So they can build depth with sophomores while seniors and juniors get the starts.

Blue-White game is on SEC Network, but apparently the exhibition with Ottawa and season opener with NJIT are not on television? That appears to be the case from a look at the schedule.

Kentucky is famous for basketball. Basketball was a favorite of coal miners.
Kentucky basketball was built on the children of coal miners. Who were
some tall kids. Kentucky is also famous for bacon grease, fried cornbread,
Derby Pie and of course bourbon. All of which can make you pretty fat.
Kentucky is full of really tall basketabll loving, KSR listening, fat people.

So they the BLANKETY BLANK BLANK BLANK is all the “Kentucky
Branded” KSR merch in sizes small to 2XL, but nothing larger?

That’s just stupid. We got Big Blue Nation money just burnin’ holes
in our pockets, but the only place that carries larger sizes is the official
UK athletics site, and Wildcat Warehouse.

That’s on you, KSR. Do something about it!!!
