Get Over the Loss with the KSR Postgame Show

Today’s game was a strange anomaly.  Kentucky ran for approximately 5234897 yards but still couldn’t outscore Tennessee.  Try to make sense of it by listening to Matt Jones on the KSR Postgame Show.

So Lucy pulls the football out from our season’s hope yet again. That b!tch!!

Conservative play calling in the red zone and inability to get in the end zone spells our doom again. Another opportunity squandered. #soKYfootball

No Defense is the problem folks. You score 36, you ought to win. Except of course when your defense, after 4 years, can’t figure out how to contain a mobile QB, which lead to 49 points.
      No Defense, No Chance.

I was at the game today and I must say I was very disappointed with the effort of the defense .I realize that the inability of our defensive downs to apply any pressure on the QB is a real problem when it comes to stress on our defensive backfield. The lack of defensive effort in the 4th was embarrassing for the Kentucky fans in attendance. After speaking with Vol fans during the course of the day I was reminded that no matter how good Kentucky is in any area, at the end of the day we are still Kentucky, and Tennessee expects to win, and that’s the media, fans and players alike. It’s attitude and culture that we at Kentucky don’t have when it comes to football.I was reminded many times.
