This morning, we launched the Jared Lorenzen Memorial Fund in honor of our dear friend, and our partners this week on the KSR Summer Tour have stepped up to the plate. GenCanna is donating $2,200 to the fund in Jared’s memory, an incredible gesture that will help ensure that Jared’s children, Taylar and Tayden, have the resources to go to college.
“GenCanna loves our Kentucky home and has enjoyed becoming part of the KSR family,” said GenCanna’s Vice President of External Relations Kathryn Breiwa Robertson. “Our heart breaks to lose Jared, who made us all feel like we were an important part of his family even though many of us never had the chance to know him personally. His ability to inspire others to achieve their goals and reach new heights makes our home state an even better place to live. We wanted to honor him by contributing $2,200 for #22 to the Jared Lorenzen fund, and we challenge other companies who were inspired by Jared to do the same. This donation can’t fully show our appreciation for what he did for others, but we hope it demonstrates to his children how beloved he was and how important his contributions were to so many in Kentucky.”
If you would also like to donate to the Jared Lorenzen Memorial Fund, you can do so via GoFundMe. You can also visit KSBar this weekend, where we’ll be showing Jared’s best games on our TVs and donating 22% of our sales to the fund. Donations are also being accepted in the mail; simply address your letter to:
