Four-Star Tennessee Commit to Officially Visit Kentucky this Weekend

Kentucky is making a late push for one of Jeremy Pruitt’s top recruits.
Wide receiver Jimmy Calloway first committed to Tennessee in April. Recruited by Tee Martin, the four-star athlete from Marrow, Ga. is the Vols’ third-highest ranked commit. Even though he has been committed for quite some time, Calloway has kept his options open, leaving just enough room for the Wildcats to make a move.
In a conversation with Rivals’ Chad Simmons, Calloway revealed that he has narrowed his list of final candidates to Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Kentucky. The Vols will receive his final visit next weekend after he officially visits Kentucky this Friday-Sunday.
“I just need to see what the vibe is like at Kentucky,” said Callaway. “They have been on me hard for a long time, so I know they want me, but I have to see how I vibe with the coaches and players.
“I want to see how I feel up there and what the opportunity is for me.”
Rivals ranks Calloway as the No. 31 wide receiver in America and No. 169 player overall, while 247 Sports pits him in at No. 207 as the ninth-ranked athlete in the nation. An athlete that returned kicks, played wide receiver, cornerback and quarterback this fall, do yourself a favor and watch the second play of his midseason highlight reel. You will not be disappointed.

Coach Letterman would be proud of the devastating downfield block at 2:45 on the video
What a pickup he would be! I want him, if for no other reason than the Vols want him.
He’s just a great Football player. Some kids are just special and he’s one of them. Can play anywhere on the field and make something happen. I’m with you clutch, I’d like to keep him away from Tennessee, but I’d love to have him here more. Lol. If that makes sense. He’s definitely going to be on Sports Center Top 10 a few times in his career and help his team win some games.
Nick, I hate to do this but I believe it is actually Morrow, Georgia (not Marrow) which is just southeast of the ATL Airport (still Greater Atlanta).
