Four-Star In-State Linebacker Visits Kentucky

Yesterday Kentucky hosted one of the region’s rising stars.  Louisville Ballard four-star linebacker Jared Casey took his first unofficial visit to UK.

“Really enjoyed my time at Kentucky.” – @Jared_casey01

Casey received a scholarship offer from Vince Marrow on May 21.  The inside linebacker blew up on the recruiting scene after he earned the linebacker MVP honors at the Rivals Three Stripe Camp in Nashville.  His performance earned him offers from UK, UofL, Syracuse and Oregon, and an invitation to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Casey, a transfer from Trinity, missed his junior season with a shoulder injury.  In one spring he’s shown that he can be an elite linebacker at the next level.
