Four future Cats named to the Jordan Brand Classic

The Jordan Brand Classic rosters were announced this morning, and four Kentucky signees/commits made the cut: Quade Green, PJ Washington, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Nick Richards. Center Mohamed Bamba was also selected, along with small forward Kevin Knox, who will visit Kentucky this weekend. Bamba and Knox are Kentucky’s two remaining targets in the class, and we’re hearing the Cats are in a very good position with both.

The Jordan Brand Classic takes place April 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. All of the players I mentioned above were also selected for the McDonald’s All-American Game, which goes down March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.

For fun, enjoy some highlights from Kentucky’s 2017 class after the jump.

You know every year I try to focus on the current year and not worry about recruiting. But Calipari and his staff make is so hard. If they get Knox and Bamba and add them to the current class then IT IS OVER!! This will be his best class EVER if they get those two guys they would literally have five 6’9” and taller swiss army knives (That can do everything). Wenyen, Vanderbilt, P.J., Knox, SKJ (You can add Hami to that list as well), then Bamba and the perfect lead guard to maximize their potential in Quade Green, that is going to be hard to stop. Duke is so scared they’re going to do anything to stop that from happening.
