Just a few days after a devastating road loss to No. 4 South Carolina, the No. 13 Kentucky Wildcats (12-2) women’s basketball team earned a massive bounce-back win over the No. 22 Tennessee Volunteers (11-3) inside Memorial Colisuem on Sunday afternoon.
Powered by a new career-high of 37 points from sophomore Rhyne Howard, the ‘Cats out hustled the physical presence of the Volunteers to get back on track in the SEC. Kentucky shot 40 percent from the field and 13-27 from beyond the arc while forcing UT into 21 total turnovers.
Howard also added nine rebounds and five assists to her impressive stat line. Senior Sabrina Haines contributed 11 points and five rebounds of her own. Check out the full stat sheet below and we’ll back shortly to provide a full recap.
