ESPN SEC Blog Split on Missouri vs UK

The ESPN SEC Blog came out with its predictions for Week 4 and much like the Vegas line tells us, the writers each picked one side.

David Ching picked Missouri 24-21 over the Wildcats, saying while he doesn’t trust Missouri’s offense, its defense has been stronger and likes that on the road. On the flip side Sam Khan thinks Kentucky will win 24-20 as he thinks the Wildcats offense will show up this week. The crazy stat that Khan provides? Missouri is averaging an SEC-worst 1.5 points per drive this possession.

At least both writers see the offense bouncing back a little bit. It won’t be easy as Missouri is a strong defensive team as we’ve documented on KSR, but you have to think 24 points wins this game.

I had the misfortune once, of being on vacation in a town where
Mizzou fans were flocking in for a game. It was before they were
in the SEC. When I heard they were coming to the SEC, I groaned.
The only fans I can think of that I would be more disgusted to be
around, would be 1.) Indiana fans, and 2.) Louisville fans.

The Mizzou fans that filled our hotel were the most rude, graceless,
devoid-of-sense-and-manners people I’ve ever had the displeasure
to be around in the South. I hope they lose, but I cheer for **their**
Cards to beat the pants off the Cinci Reds every single time!!!!!

I was at the game in Columbia last year with my brother, wife, nephew and his wife. I don’t know what the temperature was but it was windy. And. Cold!! The Missouri fans were the best fans I have ever been around. They were so nice I hated rooting against them. I have been around a*shole fans. South Carolina. UT. Florida. The worst: UL trash. But I disagree that Missouri is like that. They were the best opposing fan base I have ever been around and I root for them unless they are playing us.
