West Virginia transfer guard Eron Harris knows his top three schools and the University of Kentucky isn’t one of them. Harris told the Indy Star he plans to visit Michigan and Michigan State soon, after visiting Purdue yesterday. “Those are my top three, basically,” he said.
Purdue may be tough to beat in the race for his services. Harris’ father went to Purdue and Eron was recruited by Matt Painter in high school, although an offer never came at the time. He also speaks highly of Michigan coach John Beilein and Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.
Harris plans to make a decision soon after taking his visits. Kentucky’s chances look slim, if they’re even interested at all.
