Eron Harris names his top three (Spoiler: No Cats)

USA Today

West Virginia transfer guard Eron Harris knows his top three schools and the University of Kentucky isn’t one of them. Harris told the Indy Star he plans to visit Michigan and Michigan State soon, after visiting Purdue yesterday. “Those are my top three, basically,” he said.

Purdue may be tough to beat in the race for his services. Harris’ father went to Purdue and Eron was recruited by Matt Painter in high school, although an offer never came at the time.┬áHe also speaks highly of Michigan coach John Beilein and Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.

Harris plans to make a decision soon after taking his visits. Kentucky’s chances look slim, if they’re even interested at all.

Mich State needs him in a bad way. This would be one of Izzo’s best coaching jobs if he gets them to the tourney.

Big Blue Nation. Do not spend time worrying about this player. One that does not want to wear our Blue and White is not worth the time! Go Cats! Go Kentucky!

if you like to jack up threes, there’s no better place than to play for Beilein at Michigan

Don’t want to be the homer that says “We didn’t want him”…but seriously, we don’t. When the guy is averaging 17 a game and sites “coach not using him right” as the reason for leaving? Yeah, count me out.
