Either Khalil Whitney deleted a tweet or I’m losing my mind

When I woke up this morning, I did my usual routine of rolling over to pick up my phone and then staying in bed for another 30 minutes to scroll through Twitter and Instagram until I can’t possibly stay in bed another second. It was a regular morning for me. I saw tweets I missed last night, pictures of my friends’ babies, a story about a man dragging a dead raccoon into a San Francisco McDonald’s, and UK commit Khalil Whitney announcing the date he will sign his Letter of Intent to attend the University of Kentucky as a member of its men’s basketball program.

But when I went back to Twitter after drinking my morning pot of coffee and eating my morning avocado toast with two perfect over-easy eggs, the tweet from Whitney was no longer there. Was it all a dream? Did I make it up? I saw it (or thought I saw it) before I mentally joined the world for the day, so maybe it never really happened at all and I’m losing my mind.

Or perhaps he deleted it?

The way I remember it, Whitney announced he will sign with Kentucky in early May. On the third, I think? Or maybe it was the ninth.

Whatever the date, I’m pretty sure it happened, and even though it was deleted, it should give us a little more insight into his plans of making things official. As we told you on Monday, the staff has zero concern about Whitney’s commitment and the coaches fully expect him to ink the paperwork during the spring signing period.

    Avocado toast sounds good. Is it reguLr toast with avocado on it or did you buy avocado bread?

      I normally use a slice of Private Selection Multigrain Wide Pan Bread but today I used one half of a Thomas Everything Bagel Thin. I used half of a fresh avocado and will likely work the other half into dinner somehow.

    Mix avocado with a lil sour cream ,lime juice ,salt ,pepper ,and garlic powder til smooth ,and you have the hass sauce. Love avocados. Put it on everything especially tacos made in the slow cooker. Chicken breast covered in salsa high for 5 hours works or pulled pork done low and slow for 10 hrs. Cover it in seasonings mostly brown sugar,and a lil mustard ,and a bottle of honey bbg and a splash of vinegar. Add a bit of oil in the bottom of slow cooker and Let it cook all day or while you sleep(best)Wake up for the best breakfast ever . 2 eggs over easy never hurts! Nachos for lunch or dinner is also in order. made it last night and had to share. Clean up can be messy with pork but worth it for sure and cheap with a lot of food to eat for a couple days! If you don’t have a slow cooker it’s the next best thing to a grill! Go cats!

      Take some Fried chicken and cut open a doughnut! Lay that chicken in cover and get fat. Preferably a raspberry glazed! It’s phenomenal! Add bacon if you dare!!

    I had Girl Scout cookies. Two shortbread “Thanks-a-lots” and two “S’mores,” as well as a Sunbelt bakery brand chewy chocolate chip granola bar. I’ll hang up and listen, Thanks.

    My rule of thumb is never trust your memory before 1.5 cups of coffee. It seems to work well for me.
