You’ve heard the reports that Jayson Tatum and Harry Giles, the top two players in the ESPN100, could possibly go to Duke together.
Now Wendell Carter Jr., one of the top players in the 2017 class, is saying there’s another package deal in the works in 2017 that could send as many as four elite prospects to Duke.
Carter Jr. (No. 4 overall player) and Gary Trent Jr. (No. 1 overall player) have discussed attending Duke together in 2017. Trae Young (No. 22 overall player) and Michael Porter Jr. (No. 2 overall player) have also discussed teaming up with the Blue Devils. Together, the four would make one ridiculous group of fresh talent for Mike Kryskyyzkskeslisi.
“I always joke with them, talking about we could all be a good package deal going there,” Carter Jr. told ZagsBlog. “If the cards play that good, I would be real happy.”
Coach K has really stepped up his recruiting game lately and it appears Duke has seized all momentum for the next two classes. Luke Winn of Sports Illustrated said Tatum and Giles will make the best package deal of all time if they follow through with their plans to play together. Then if Krysweksfrski can land four more from the next class, including three of the top four players in America, good grief.
Duke is killing it right now.
And that doesn’t sit well with me.
