Drake Jackson’s Woodford County Jersey is Retired

Drake’s other jersey – a U.S. Army All-American.

Last night Woodford County officially ended their football season by sending off one of their greatest players in style.  At the season-ending banquet head coach Dennis Johnson retired Drake’s #52 jersey, becoming the first person in school history to ever have their jersey reach the rafters.  Drake has received plenty of awards and honors, but called this one the greatest.

Before he puts on the blue and white, he’ll wear black and yellow one more time at the January 9th U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
