Dr. Fauci should not quit his day job.
The nation’s leading epidemiologist had the honor of tossing out the first pitch of the 2020 Major League Baseball season. Originally scheduled to start almost four months ago, the coronavirus delayed MLB’s opening pitch and shrunk the season to only 60 games.
In baseball’s absence, Dr. Anthony Fauci replaced the sport, appearing regularly on television to provide the latest COVID-19 updates. A Washington Nationals fan, it was fitting that he should throw out the first pitch before the defending World Series champs took the field.
The 79-year-old remains in great shape, but he probably should have practiced a few throws in addition to his daily walks.

Dr. Fauci did not deliver a strike. It was not really close it all. Even so, it could have been worse. 50 Cent was 39-years-old when he let out this doozy in 2014.
50 Cent and Fauci — the collaboration the world didn’t know it needed.
