Dr. Anthony Fauci’s First Pitch was juuuuuuuust a bit outside

Dr. Fauci should not quit his day job.

The nation’s leading epidemiologist had the honor of tossing out the first pitch of the 2020 Major League Baseball season. Originally scheduled to start almost four months ago, the coronavirus delayed MLB’s opening pitch and shrunk the season to only 60 games.

In baseball’s absence, Dr. Anthony Fauci replaced the sport, appearing regularly on television to provide the latest COVID-19 updates. A Washington Nationals fan, it was fitting that he should throw out the first pitch before the defending World Series champs took the field.

The 79-year-old remains in great shape, but he probably should have practiced a few throws in addition to his daily walks.

Dr. Fauci did not deliver a strike. It was not really close it all. Even so, it could have been worse. 50 Cent was 39-years-old when he let out this doozy in 2014.

50 Cent and Fauci — the collaboration the world didn’t know it needed.

Have we heard yet from the “how does Trump have time to tweet during a PANDEMIC!!!!!!” crowd? Because, you know, the guy in charge of the response is doing photo spreads and throwing first pitches. What office will Fauci be running for, by the way? Because it’s definitely coming.

His pitch was definitely more dignified than the disgusting display by the coaches and players during the anthem!

Their first amendment right is no more important than mine. It is my RIGHT to disagree and have the opinion that it is disgusting. The biggest difference is that what they did is a slap in the face to the countless AMERICAN patriots who have given the ultimate sacrifice to preserve what that flag and anthem represent.

But you obviously subscribe to the snowflake philosophy: “You have the right to free speech as long as you agree with me and/or I approve.”

He is remarkably consistent. Missing this pitch, missing predictions about this pandemic and when he predicted that thousands of heterosexuals would die of AIDS without a vaccine in the late 80s!!!!
