Doron Lamb signs to play professionally in Turkey

Who up Turkey?

Former Kentucky shooting guard Doron Lamb is taking his talents to the Middle East. Eurobasket reports Lamb has signed to play for Darussafaka Istanbul. Last year the team finished sixth out of 16 in the country’s top basketball league.

Lamb most recently spent two seasons in Greece, playing against Rick Pitino’s team in the country’s top league. He earned Honorable Mention all-league honors after averaging 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Istanbul, Turkey isn’t exactly the safest place in the world, just ask Enes Kanter. It’s quite a bit different than New Orleans, the site where Lamb led UK in scoring in the 2012 National Championship game.

Matt, if there was ever a time to run for senate, that time’s now. Mitch McConnell is an absolute horrible human being and has got to go. And to all you McConnell lovers… this man does not care about you at all. He doesn’t represent you (the people) as he should… he represents his rich corporate donors who pay him to push their inhumane narratives

Go somewhere else with all that political BS! This is a sports site. You must be a miserable person

Amy McGrath announced her candidacy this morning.

As you may know, she has 20 years experience in the Marines and was the first female to fly an F/A-18 on a combat mission. She is not perfect, but she is a long way from Turtle Dick.

Please, I implore those of you who live in KY to vote for her and end the national embarrassment of having Mitch McConnell as one of our Senators.

As to Catscats23, get a life.

Hey catscats… go lick a taint. KSR posted an article about the possibility of Matt running. So when they post about political issues, it becomes a political website. Not sure how imploring dumb rednecks to not vote for a corrupt evil fugger like McConnell leads you to describe me as a miserable person. Not a very logical response. Might you be one of those dumb rednecks?

And this political bs effects each and every one of us negatively, unless you’re rich

I have no love for McConnell, but the problem is he’s not conservative enough. Kentucky’s best chance to get rid of him was when Bevin tried to primary him, but they put Mitch back in.

Yep, I said it, I meant it, I’m here to represent it.

Chris gettle, by not conservative enough do you mean , that he doesn’t just lay down and let trump tell him what the fudge to do . I do give him that but it’s expected because he’s in another branch of government that isn’t just supposed to do what the President says. He’s prob the second most conservative person In the U.S . I’m far from a fan of McConnell for reasons stated above . And I for one really am hoping Matt runs . Because McGrath has no chance. I’d consider myself a moderate which I feel Matt is reasonable among a majority of topics .

And all Matt has to do is enter. Once the debates are on , he will kill it . For the simple fact of why I’ve stayed above . He’s more middle ground than any “politician” that I’ve seen in a long time , and that my friends is what this state and country needs . Matt Jones for President !!!!!!

imabucket, Matt is pro-abortion. That’s not middle ground. You might be right about his debating skills though. Mitch is getting pretty long in the tooth, so I could see Matt doing something similar to what Kamala did to Joe and leaving him speechless at times.

Is this a sports site if so let’s keep it about sports. No one want to come to a sports site to read politics. But we’ve got some dumb people who can’t understand that. Poor souls live day to day worrying about this crap. Their ALL THE SAME. CROOKS AND THIEFS.
