2015 center Doral Moore was supposed to visit Kentucky this past weekend, but according to Evan Daniels, he wasn’t able to make the trip. The Cats are a heavy favorite for the 7-footer from Georgia, and many assumed that he would commit if given the chance this weekend, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little while longer. Ohio State, Florida, Illinois, and Wake Forest are also on his list, but the Cats hold a commanding 94% lead in his Crystal Ball predictions.

Moore is considered the 11th best center in the 2015 class by 247 Sports Composite, but his stock has been rising after an impressive summer circuit. This is why:

He looks like WCS 2.0. Very long and lean with a lot of athleticism for his size. He looks like he runs the floor very well for a guy his size but he’s still very raw at this stage like WCS. Looks like he would be a good pickup for the Cats

How in the world has Cal made it this far without your insight into high school talent? I say he should put you on the payroll ASAP.

You likely never even played church league yet now you are an expert on HS talent. I think I will trust Coach Cal’s opinion.

My guess at this point is that Moore is more like a plan B in case we don’t get Stone, Rabb or a couple others. I have no basis of proof involving this, but if I was recruiting bigs, he probably is more of a project than some of the others.

I would have to agree. He looks like he has concrete in his shoes unless he’s jumping. Good size though, and huge frame

If I recall, WCS was also a project when he was recruited. Go back 3 years and read how KSR described him. When he blocked Nerlins in the blue white scrimmage, you could tell he would be more than just a project.

Reminds me a lot of Sam Bowie the way he moves and lands after a dunk. He lands very flat footed and his legs are straight. Hope there are no back issues or worse in his future. But it was only a small clip.

Have we ever had a player wear uniform number 88 at UK?
