I love how people just move on to the next thing to bitch about. You’d be furious if your provider didn’t carry the network, but now that they are you’re upset that it might actually cost you something to get it.

The way I understand it is that if you live inside an SEC area, states that have the fourteen
schools, you will recieve the SEC Network at no charge. While those living outside the area
will be charged a fee if they want it. I live in Louisville, and am very glad that I will now be
getting it from day one. GREAT NEWS to UK fans. Thanks Directv.

I canceled my card that was paying for Direct TV because I kept getting fraudulent charges of 20 here 50 there somehow. Guess a person jacked my number and would enter manually because all 3 charges came from the same box type store. Anyways I called canceled Direct because I would be working out of town for 4 months. I get back a week ago and still have Direct t.v. going free of charge LOL. Gotta love incompetence when it helps you. The way I figure it they got me recorded from when I canceled and I haven’t had anything taken out by them in the four months so I really hope its in my package I’ve had/got.

The SEC Network will be part of the Choice Package (the third highest package they offer) and any other packages that are higher. If you have DirecTV and are currently getting ESPN-U then you have Choice and are good to go!
