One of the biggest stars at Peach Jam may (or may not) have just received a Kentucky offer.
Reports are leaking out that Khalil Whitney, a five-star small forward out of Roselle, NJ, has been offered by the Wildcats.
PrepHoops’ Scott Burgess was the first to report the news, which is included in the interview below:
Rivals’ David Sisk followed it up with this:

KSR can’t confirm an offer at this time, but if it hasn’t already happened, it appears imminent.
The 6-foot-6, 190-pound forward is ranked No. 13 player in the class of 2019, per 247 Sports. ESPN has him ranked No. 14 overall, while Rivals lists him at No. 23. He holds offers from Florida, Kansas, Louisville, Illinois, LSU, and Virginia, among others.
John Calipari was in to see Whitney in Milwaukee on Wednesday and then followed it up with another visit on Thursday.
In an interview with Eric Bossi of Rivals.com, Whitney said Coach Cal had been in contact in the past and has been trying to get him on campus soon.
“I talked to coach (John) Calipari once and he talked to my family and I have talked to them about it. He said that he would love to have me on campus. I don’t know when I want to take an official or an unofficial, I’m not sure. But, I’ll be talking to my parents about that.
Whitney will visit Kentucky next month.
Until then, watch his recent highlights from EYBL Dallas below:
With Keion Brooks likely headed elsewhere, it looks like Whitney is now one of Kentucky’s top small forward targets in the class.
And the interest is mutual.
Come on down!
